jessica Alba is due near any day now, and suddenly the reality of welcoming a second baby into the family is hitting the Spy Kids actress. In a blog at iVillage Jessica Alba, pictured here on July 6, details her thoughts in her final days of pregnancy.

“I’m excited, nervous and ready,” Jessica Alba writes. “I’ve seen my friends who have multiple children, and seeing siblings love on each other is just the sweetest thing ever. Although I fought with my little brother a lot growing up, we were best friends, and I’d take vengeance on anyone who hurt him — especially his feelings.”

Being a mother doesn’t leave you much time to do your makeup, but that’s fine for Jessica Alba because she has a very basic beauty routine that she can throw together in five minutes.

Jessica Alba uses sunscreen everyday to keep her skin glowing.
The stunning actress – who is currently pregnant with her second child – says her beauty routine is very simple but it has always worked for her.
She told StyleList.com: “My mother always told me to wash my face every night, wear sunscreen during the day and drink plenty of water. It’s simple but I like to think that it works for me.
“I like sunscreen that’s not too heavy so I use my daughter’s California Baby.”
Another family trick Jessica swears by is to use her lipstick on her cheeks, saying: “Before there was cream blush, my grandmother would apply lipstick on her lips, cheeks and eyes. I still do that today.”

‘I was completely and totally paraphrased, and things were taken out of context and mushed together,’ the actress says of comments in an Elle magazine article that irked some screenwriters.

After being quoted saying that “good actors never use the script” — raising the ire of several screenwriters — Jessica Alba is insisting her words were taken out of context.

The actress, who is currently promoting Little Fockers, was quoted last month by Elle magazine saying, “Good actors never use the script unless it’s amazing writing. All the good actors I’ve worked with, they all say whatever they want to say.”

Among those offended were Big Fish scribe John August, who addressed Alba’s quotes on his blog.

Jess attended last night the Miu Miu store launch in London, here’s an article and some photos.

It can certainly be difficult to stand out from the crowd at a shop launch with crowds of models and all-round beautiful people.

But Jessica Alba certainly managed to make an impression last night in a daring sequinned and neon dress, which she teamed with tan platform sandals and a loose up ‘do.

The 29-year-old actress braved the freezing cold temperatures at the opening of the Miu Miu boutique in Bond Street alongside celebrities including American actress Emma Roberts.

Interesting article on Jess’ role model women – definitely she has good taste, Angelina is awesome.

Jessica Alba is very clear when she thinks of a female role model, the choice is Angelina Jolie. And Alba wants to be talked about for her work in movies not about the fact that she is or is not the best dressed at an event, or a fashion icon.”My role model is Angelina Jolie. She is so beautiful and has an incredible career. People talk more about her profession as an actress and humanitarian work in contrary to her looks,” said Jessica.

Meanwhile, Alba, which already has a daughter, Honor, from her marriage with husband Cash Warren, has confessed she would love to raise a family. Perhaps following the example of Angelina, who has six children in total.

Hollywood and politics always seem to find a way to come together, and many of Tinseltown’s top names teamed up for the Voto Latino “United We Win” campaign.

Founder Rosario Dawson showed up at Line 204 East Stages to film a new spot for the movement, looking fine in a white top and peach cardigan.

Also on board were hotties like Jessica Alba, Eva Longoria, Amy Smart, and Carla Gugino, while Common represented the fellas.

Voto Latino is a non-profit, non-partisan organization to increase American Latino youth civic participation by both increasing voter turnout and political involvement.
