After being quoted saying that “good actors never use the script” — raising the ire of several screenwriters — Jessica Alba is insisting her words were taken out of context.

The actress, who is currently promoting Little Fockers, was quoted last month by Elle magazine saying, “Good actors never use the script unless it’s amazing writing. All the good actors I’ve worked with, they all say whatever they want to say.”

Original “Spy Kids” Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara, as well as their onscreen dad, Antonio Banderas, are expected to play supporting roles. Production is set to begin next month.
Robert Rodriguez is the writer/director/creator of the “Spy Kids” franchise. He wrote the script, based on Jessica Alba,” he said of what will be his third film with Alba.
